Created as an interpretation of the closing scene of Stephen's King's Pet Semetary for the "Art of Stephen King" section in Gauntlet magazine, issue #2 in 1991, unfortunately this illustration was reduced to near illegibility in its first appearance. It was then reprinted in Midnight Zoo Magazine, issue #4, as part of an artist's profile in the Summer of 1991. A third reprint of "Welcome Home, Rachel" was made by The Scream Factory Magazine, issue #14, in the Summer of 1994. An oversized combination graphic and pen & ink piece, it has never been reproduced to show its true detail.
