Pen. One of a set of four technical illustrations done in 1991 to accompany text by Jeffrey Osier in his portion of The Writer's Guide to Creating a Science Fiction Universe. The illustration portion of this non-fiction project unfortunately never materialized. It was, however, published in April, 1999 in LUM #4 (The University of Sweden).
